The location of this hotel is A1, right in the middle of the city and next to the longest shopping street in Europe!! The rooms are small but ideal as its just a place to lay your head at night whilst you explore the city. We asked for two room adjacent each other as we had two teenagers with us. The rooms were perfect as they were in a little alcove off the main stairs. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Area very safe.

Second stay here, and no doubt I'll be back for future short stays in Bordeaux. The person at the front desk was consistently lovely despite the long hours she was clearly working, and she was eager to ensure that we were comfortable. It's small and basic, but clean and comfortable (slept so well), and quiet enough given it's very central location. It also seems to be one of the best value hotels in the area.

Really attentive and helpful staff. The gentleman at reception was very nice and happy to chat even at such a late hour (I arrived at 23:30). I'd asked if the room had an iron/ board which it didn't. He walked the 4 flights of stairs to fetch me an iron and ironing board instead, which I didn't expect. The room was cosy and would definitely stay again.

best location for staying in the city centre, walking distance to everything. staff were friendly and the room was cleaned daily. as it was in a busy location it was quite loud at night with windows open but we managed to sleep well as the bed was comfortable. basic room and bathroom but we didn’t mind as we weren’t in the hotel for long during our stay.

Cassandra

Lovely central location. Kind personal who were always happy to answer any questions. Nice and clean, both the room and the common areas. Very cozy with cool and local architecture. Good breakfast. The bed was a bit soft but good.
